We had a really nice time at Ragga's apartment in the city centre. Ragga helped us a lot, gave us information about how to get to her apartment easily. It was very clean. The place is so cute, and lovely location. We really loved spending two nights there during our stopover. Thanks Ragga!!
Nice little apartment; I'd definitely stay here again. It was small but clean and well appointed. Also, I really liked the location. A great coffee shop was just half a block away, the Leifur Eriksson Hotel was 30 seconds away, and most tours will pick up or drop off there, including the FlyBus from the airport, so it was very convenient for arrival and departure. Though it was outside the main downtown area, it was a quick 10-15 minute walk to the city center and/or harbor, and being a bit away meant it was very quiet (Reykjavik is a party town, so nice not to have to listen to the noise that goes on till the wee hours. I did not have the chance to meet Ragga in person as she was away when I stayed, but she provided me with very detailed instructions and information and was very accessible via email during my stay.
Nice comfortable and friendly Studio with a well equipped kitchen.
The studio itself is very small but located next to the center.
Highly recommended and we would definitely come back.
Very clean room with a great view on the main church of Reykjavik. Bathroom and kitchen are available close to the room, very clean as well. The house have a wonderful location in the center of the city.
We spent two nights at Ragga. The room is perfectly located, in the citycentre, 2 minutes walk from busstop of the airportshuttle and busstop of the excursions company. It's on the second floor (no elevator). Room is bright and has good beds. Bathroom is clean, but to be used with other tenants.
We only met Ragga when we arrived to receive the keys.
We had a really nice an comfortable weekend at Ragga's house. There was everything we needed in the bathroom and kitchen area, plus the view from our bedroom window on the Hallgrímskirkja was wonderful. The place is perfectly located in the heart of Reykjavik. When additionally, your host is a nice and helpful as Ragga was, you come to the conclusion that it could not have been much better.
Very clean, very central. Tourist pick up for tours 3 min walk away. Near great bakery, lots of tourist shops, restaurants, tourist info, etc. No elevator, so be prepared to climb up 3 flights of stairs with your luggage.
Ragga was very kind, loaned us raincoats and was willing for us to store our luggage there during the last day so we could take a tour.
Washing machine and ketttle worked fine.
There are two rooms that Ragga rents out, both share one bathroom and kitchen area. This wasn't a problem and we hardly saw the other occupants.
The studio is located next to the center of town with easy access to tourist information and located next to the cathedral, a landmark making it easy to find the apartment. Access to laundry facilities was especially appreciated. The studio itself is VERY small, two single beds fit snuggly next to the kitchen and just behind the bathroom and leaving enough room for a two person kitchen table. No space for privacy from your traveling companion.
Ragga was really helpful and immediately responsive to our needs. She lives in the building making interaction easy.
We had a short (2 days) but enormously pleasant stay in Ragga's studio. Ragga is
kind, knowledgeable and helpful with advice, and she was very flexible with arrival and departure times. The location is absolutely perfect to explore the city, the studio is not gigantic but definitely sufficient for such a stay, and has everything one needs (even small commodities in the kitchen such as sugar, coffee etc) as well as comfortable beds. We can warmly recommend it also for longer stays.
