This spacious holiday villa has much to offer by way of stylish décor in soothing, neutral tones and has been furnished to a high standard. An impressive entrance hall opens into the living room, a comfortable area in which to relax. This spacious room has a large flatscreen television wall-mounted above an open fireplace to create an attractive main focal point of the room. The dining area is open-plan from the living area and has large, sliding patio doors opening onto the pool terrace. The fully equipped kitchen is fitted with modern appliances including a second drinks fridge in addition to the main fridge/freezer. There is a separate utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer and shower. Also on the ground floor are two of the villas four bedrooms. Both of these attractive bedrooms have twin beds which can be made into double beds and are ensuite with Jacuzzi baths. One has double aspect sliding patio doors onto the pool terrace, and the other has patio doors opening onto the side terrace and gardens. On the first floor is the third bedroom with twin beds which can be made into a double and which has a twin sofabed. This bedroom has use of a separate shower room. The master bedroom has a double bed and an en suite bathroom with Jacuzzi bath. These bedrooms share a large, furnished terrace with views to the Atlantic Ocean, Ria Formosa and the surrounding Vale do Lobo area. The villa is air conditioned throughout which is included in the price and WiFi internet access.
The exterior areas of the villa are attractively laid out and include terraces and lawns shaded by palm trees. The 10 x 5m private swimming pool is accessed by steps and can be heated at an extra charge. Guests can choose whether to soak up the sun on the terrace or cool off on one of the furnished shaded terraces. The built-in gas barbecue is ideal for cooking meals prepared from some of the delicious local produce to enjoy on the shaded dining terrace in the fenced, private gardens.
Villa Fernanda is situated in a small development within Vale do Lobo called Encosta do Lobo. Although it is a little removed from the main resort area, it is still within easy walking distance of many of the excellent facilities Vale do Lobo has to offer. The resort of Vale do Lobo is situated on spectacular coastline and set in a glorious pine forest with two superb 18-hole golf courses, the Ocean and the Royal with the clubhouse also within a short walk of the townhouses. The Tennis Academy in the resort has first class facilities and offers tennis lessons for all levels. Vale do Lobo has fantastic beach bars and cafes, offering traditional and international cuisine. The fantastic golden sand beach is backed by red sandstone cliffs and washed by the aquamarine waters of the Atlantic Ocean every day. Less than a ten minute drive away is the exclusive shopping and dining in Quinta do Lago with its sophisticated atmosphere. Also within a 10 minute drive is the horse riding centre and a Go-Kart track.
For traditional water sports head into Quinta do Lago for wind surfing, jet skis, pedaloes and sailing on both the lake and the lagoon. A fifteen minute drive takes you to the resort of Vilamoura and its bustling marina and a variety of marine excursions, including big game fishing, charter yachts and dolphin spotting. Vilamoura is best known for its golf courses of which there are five. This area also has a number of water parks with the nearest one being at Vilasol and several others can be found on the N 125 heading west. A twenty-five minute drive west takes you to the small town of Guia, famous for its authentic chicken piri-piri and seafood restaurants as well as some nearby fantastic sandy cove beaches. The Zoo-Marine theme park near Armacao da Pera has a number of family friendly rides, sea-life shows and there is the opportunity to swim with the dolphins.
There is a maid cleaning service five times a week and there is a bedroom linen and bathroom towel change once a week. A refundable security deposit of £500 in cash or cheque is required to be paid to the local manager on arrival at the villa.
