Edgware Road is London's Arab high street, and in summer the air is rich with the scents of Okacbasi barbecues and full of the sounds of Middle Eastern and North African music.
Between Queensway and Bayswater Underground Stations is the Queens Ice Rink, careful it’s easy to miss with stairs going down into the main part of the building. The bunch of skittles at the top of the stairs is a clue. The main attraction here is the 10 pin bowling alley and the ice rink.
Whiteley's, a century-old department store that was the closest thing London has to a US-style mall prior to the opening of Westfield. Every place is at your doorstep. Bayswater , Harrods, Knightsbridge, Hyde Park, Natural History, Science and V&A Museums, Royal Albert Hall. I could carry on and on and on.
Splendid Walks Through Kensington Gardens. The location could hardly be bettered, with wonderful walks, monuments and restaurants. The city’s most popular attractions are within easy reach.

Notting Hill is not too far away with a lovely gentle stroll through Kensington Park and into Portobello Road Market where you can search for bargains of all kinds especially antiques.
To the north-west lies the Westfield shopping centre with over 265 retailers from luxury designers to high street labels.

+ quiet area, the beds were good and the sheets and towels clean - and a fantastic Thai restaurant just up the road (3 min)
- the house is very run down, it was nicely decorated for the photos, but it really needs renovation. The toilet didn't always flush (the only one for 7 people! and with half a roll of toilet paper provided for 4 days, so make sure to bring your own...), the two remaining couches fall forward when trying to sit on them, no batteries in the clocks, lightbulbs missing, no kitchen towels. Dirty kitchen, with two empty containers of instant coffee (well, empty would have been fine actually, both of them had a bit of dried/sticking coffee on the bottom), and the whole house smells damp/old. The cleaning must be very rushed, only the main areas are cleaned. (toilet, sink itself ok, but don't look anywhere else in the bathroom, or in any corners, or at the window-seal, or at any carpet...)
A bit more care by the owner would certainly be necessary.
Analisa has sent us very clear instructions for our stay in her house. The email exchanges were also very helpful. The house is nice and located in a quiet area. Hammersmith station is quite near; central London can be reached very easily. It was a nice stay !
Everything worked out well with the reservation and the stay.
Our contact people were responsive and good to deal with and the house was really comfortable.
The appartment was good.
1 bathroom and toilet in one room maybe a bit too small.
overall service was good. Reachability etc.
We would like to thank you again for the kind hospitalilty during our stay. The children first visit to London was a "hit".
Everything was perfect. Just 1 advice: taking water in the bathroom upstairs starts pouring water in the kitchen downstairs and gives an annoying noice.
However, this won't stop us from booking again with you next time.
Andre and family
A very place for our stay, a real improvements from our previous stays in London in various hotels. Place is perfect for groups of friends looking to visit London, as is 5 min from the Piccadilly line (to the museums, the musicals, the pubs....).
The rooms are comfortable, the living room and kitchen are perfect to spend the evening, and it is possible to get baby cots (for a fee) if needed.
A very nice stay with 10 girls in this beautifull apartment. Beds quality are awesome, it was really clean and the location of this house is really close to the center of london.
I recommend it !
Excellent location for our gig at Hammersmith Odeon -just 5 minutes walk! The decor is cool and modern and was fab for relaxing in. There were excellent communications regarding check in, key collection Etc and this gives great piece of mind! We were only there one night so not much time to note too much detail but a great stay - many thanks!
Nice house in a quiet area. Analisa gave all necessary information in advance so the key transfer was possible without any delay. The house was very clean (bathroom, bedrooms, kitchen), only the carpet of the launch/livingroom was a little bit dirty/spotty. The was a nice welcome gift in the fridge: thanks a lot for that! We missed some equipment in the kitchen, e.g. a sieve for noodles, a whisk, a cup coaster or a dishtowel.
The only real disadvantage for us was the fact that each bed had a very soft mattress, so four of us slept on the sofa beds in the living room. Nevertheless we recommend this appartement highly for a city trip.
