We spent last weekend on Lotje house boat, we found it very comfortable and in a quiet part of Amsterdam. The boat had everything you needed on board, was nice and warm even without the fire on. the location is very useful for the museums and also has a LIDL across the road which makes shopping very easy. Would definitely recommend this houseboat to anyone considering a trip to Amsterdam
We had a wonderful 4 days on Lotje's houseboat in Amsterdam. The house is very comfortable, well equipped, very clean and centrally located. We can fully recommend it for a family.
What a find! The houseboat was perfect for our weekend in Amsterdam. The host arrived at the agreed time to meet us and make sure we were comfortable. There is a Lidl just over the road, so a quick shop for breakfast things was so easy. There was plenty of coffee provided. Public transport was so easy too. Buy the IAmsterdam card, all tram journeys are included. We walked everywhere, great location. Would love to return.
we found the houseboat to be clean spacious and welcoming. A breakfast pack provided with a variety of cereals, jams and spreads to choose from was very useful on our first morning. though a carton of milk would have helped as we were delayed and didn't arrive until after midnight, though not a problem as we discovered a lidl store just over the bridge and it was open at 8am.
There were plenty of towels, bedding and toiletries in fact most things you would use day to day at home.
The houseboat is ideally situated in a quite residential area with a little traffic noise from the main road opposite. Only a 15 to 20 minute walk to the main attractions or a 5 minute tram ride which you can catch at the end of the street.
Our hosts Lotje and Mell were always at hand should we need them via mobile or email.
We would defiantly recommend this place for a different type of relaxing holiday. Already planning our 2017 trip there :-)
We had a lovely family holiday on this houseboat, really clean and spacious. The kids loved the bunk beds although the bottom bed folded out to a double so both could fit in if needed. Great location very close to trams, walking distance of many places of interest and a supermarket across the road for supplies.
We went in spring which was still quite chilly at times but the boats heating system was brilliant, love the spa bath too great after a long day sightseeing. Owners very helpful - would recommend to anyone looking for somewhere great to stay in Amsterdam.
Just brilliant. We had a lovely time staying here and would recommend it to anyone. The boat is beautifully furnished and well set out. Everything works as it should and lots of great amenities. The breakfast selection when you arrive is a great feature. The location of the boat is lovely and convenient for all your needs. You can get anywhere in the city with just a short walk.
We spent a great time on this houseboat. It is comfortable and fully equiped. It is also well located. You need only 10 min. to the Reichsmuseum and to the Prinsengracht. I am quite sure that we will stay on this boat again when we come back to Amsterdam.
We stayed, my boyfriend and I for 4 days in Lotje's Houseboat.
Lotje and her husband are very nice hosts, they were very welcoming and helpful.
There was everything you need for breakfast aswell.
The place is very nice, lot's of space... (faithful to the photos!)
I have been to Amsterdam several times but first time on water and it was very pleasant, I'll repeat the experience for sure!!!
The houseboat is very well located, next to the Rijksmuseum. We walked everywhere no problem. Didn't need to take the tram.
There is also a very nice market open all week, and super market and restaurants not far.
I really recommand this place.
Lotje and her husband are very kind.We realy appreciate their small attentions when we arrived,cream,vine,cakes...they were allways evailable .It was very nice to discover this beatiful city from the canal.Jean-Nicolas and Nathalie
Hi out there :D If you want a very relaxing trip to Amsterdam book this nice, cute and comfortable Houseboat halfway between all the important spots in Amsterdam.
We went there with two kids (5 years and 10 months old) and we had everything we need. It was also baby safe and my big son had a lots of fun. A Supermarket is a 1 Minute walk near by. To the next sweet Cafes and Shops it´s just a few Minutes to Walk. We also walked into the Citycenter and the Jordan district with all those nice shops and cafes and the beautiful canals. This took a few minutes more, but the sight was so nice, that we didn´t recognize!
The owner are as pleasant as can be. We will come back next year! We just missed some Music, but next time we will bring some boxes ;)
